More than 200 pounds, a smoking habit, and more — all gone

In January of 2008, Jane weighed 206 pounds, smoked a pack of cigarettes a day and her exercise regime consisted of going from the house to the car to the office and back. She started tracking her food daily, doing 30 minutes of light cardio 4 days a week and lost 65 pounds over the next 10 months. On October 1, 2009 (after 25 years) she quit smoking and never looked back. In June 2010, she finished her first triathlon. GMS
